San Francisco Fountain

This bronze fountain by Ruth Asawa, completed in 1972, presents a series of relief panels depicting San Francisco landmarks and imagined figures arranged around a circular form near Union Square. Commissioned by the Grand Hyatt, the work was created through a collaborative process involving community members and children whose clay models were cast into the final bronze panels.
