The Jazz Mural at 606 Broadway was commissioned in 1987 by building owner Giovanni and created by artist Bill Weber in collaboration with Tony Klaas. Located at the intersection of North Beach, Chinatown, and the historic Barbary Coast, the mural brings together references to these three neighborhoods through the shared motif of jazz musicians.
